This is a nice ride to start any sunny day. The single-track is manageable for beginners yet interesting enough to satisfy more experienced riders. Strong riders can probably blast through two laps in less than two hours.
The route starts with a pleasant roll through a pine forest where a few rocks keep things interesting without getting too technically demanding. After a short stretch on a dirt road, the single-track descent into Mitchell Creek basin is smooth and effortless. The ride ends along easy-graded double-track along the route's only sustained climb.
