This is a great little loop that doesn’t see a lot of use. Start with a three-mile climb up FSR 435. Hit the single-track for about 0.7 miles of additional climbing to the
highpoint of the route. Next, the trail roller-coasters until you reach FSR 433. Sail down FSR 433 until you intersect the McQuaid Trail single-track. The remainder
is an easy glide on more pristine and skinny single-track.

The route traverses some dense stands of aspen and mid-September is an especially nice time to ride it. In addition, the trail passes through several open range
areas, so please close and chain all gates after passing through them.

Please be aware that this route is not well maintained and there may be a lot of downed trees and other trail hazards. But don’t let that discourage you because it’s still a lot of fun.
